I completed the Staines 10K on Sunday May 19th in one hour seven minutes. Around the same time as last year! That elusive sub-one hour 10K still evades me. I was running for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) and you can still sponsor me if you’d like to:
Thank you to those that have already and my next race is for the Cleft Lift and Palate Association (CLAPA), a mere trifle of the Ealing half marathon on 29th September. It is the second time this race has been run and it is a fairly flat course thankfully.
I am hoping to do another 10K in July, either the enjoyable Elmbridge one again or the Dawney Lakes one which is held around last year’s Olympic rowing lake. That may get the nod due to its location.
After this race I am taking a year off from fundraising to allow my fantastic supporters some respite too!
