I am also working on getting signed items for the Stoke City £150 fundraising (to tie0in with the club’s 150th anniversary) for the two charities. Well the fundraising for CLAPA is off to a good start with £370 already raised thanks to John Micthell (It Bites) and the winning bidder for a guitar lesson & lunch with John Mitchell.
Coming soon will be signed goodies from author Tom Bromley (he has written a series of highly readable books on pop music) and melodic rockers Dante Fox, including a rather special treat for one lucky fan – more details soon.
Also I am very pleased to have a guest blogger who will be writing about their family and in particular their son to raised awareness over cleft lip and palates. More details to follow shortly.
Running wise I am doing the Staines 10K again this year for both charities and planning doing a half mararthon in the summer. Did my first run of the year last night and slightly creaky this morning 🙂
