Charlotte’s Song – the difference music makes
Charlotte has been in hospital since December last year, recovering from meningitis encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain. Initially the condition affected the use of both of her arms and legs, her head control and her speech. Yet, when music was re-introduced to Charlotte’s life she found herself able to sing more fluidly than she could speak – helping her to see light at the end of the darkness!

Our Get Loud lineup for this year is immense – with headliners from the worlds of metal, pop, rock, reggae, dance and folk – celebrating the incredible diversity of our charity, as we reach out to anyone and everyone who can be helped by music therapy.
