Comedian Jimmy Cricket, a long standing supporter of my fundraising, has kindly donated a DVD and CD (with a signed photo) to help start off my fundraising year for the Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) and the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS).
You can bid on the DVD here and the CD/signed photo here
Other goodies pledged include a signed CD and t-shirt for UK melodic rockers Dante Fox plus a rather special treat for fans TBC.
Also the band FM, lovely folk who have kindly promoted my fundraising, I am proud to say I will be wearing their t-shirt for my runs next year 🙂
More news soon and as ever any help promoting and/or with donations for charity auctions most welcome.
Slowly getting back into the running groove. A nice and steady two miles with another mile walking. Just under two months away from race day and hoping I am fit enough to complete the 10K. Looking back I wonder how the heck I ever did three marathons at the end of the 90’s – youthful energy methinks 🙂
Tonight’s soundtrack included folk metalers Lyriel, the mighty FM, Black Stone Cherry and Pretty Maids.
Another five pound pledged today through good old fashioned paper sponsor forms, so now over seventy pounds raised for Children with Cancer UK.
